Support to build a 'smart' cattle barn
Run by: Ministry of Economy of Armenia
2025–2028 program to build or rebuild and equip a modern loose-housing barn. Three models: 20–25, 40–45 and 95–100 head. Choose either partial cost refund or a low-interest loan.
Do I qualify?
Sole proprietors, legal entities and communities with no overdue loans or tax arrears, who have land and will keep only pedigree animals in the barn.
What you get
New build: 50% of cost (15, 23 or 57 mn AMD by model). Border communities, cooperatives and combat-disabled veterans: 70% (21, 32.2 or 79.8 mn AMD). Reconstruction: 25% (45% for priority groups). Or: loan up to 5 years at 2% (0% for priority groups).
Deadline
- Closes: 1 November 2028
- Runs 2025–2028, about 50 barns planned. Applications are accepted until 1 November 2028.

How to apply
- 1Send an electronic application to the Ministry of Economy. The application form is published on the Ministry's website; applications are accepted until 1 November 2028. The Ministry checks the documents and visits your farm.
- 2For the loan option first visit a participating bank for a credit check. The application form for this option is approved by order of the Minister of Economy.
- 3The refund is paid in 3 stages: 30% after construction, 40% after equipment is installed and the barn is half-filled, 30% a year later.
