Loan interest subsidy for non-traditional high-value crops

Do I qualify?

Individuals, sole proprietors and companies growing on 1 to 30 ha. Other non-traditional crops are possible with the Ministry's approval.

What you get

The state pays 12 percentage points (7 in foreign currency); 14 for border communities, cooperatives and combat-disabled persons; 13 for farmers aged 18–35 or 63+. Term 2 years (5 years for asparagus).

Deadline

• Closes: 31 December 2026
• The program runs 2021–2026. Apply before you start the works. There is no decision or draft yet on a 2027 continuation. Existing borrowers whose grace period ends by 31 July 2027 can get +1 year of term and +1 year of grace if they apply to their bank by 1 November 2026.

1. 1Go to a bank or credit organization that takes part in the program.
2. 2Hand in the cost estimate and land documents. The loan only covers work done after the contract is signed.
