50% refund for buying pedigree sheep and goats

Sheep and goat development program 2024–2028. The state refunds half the price of pedigree sheep and goats (pregnant ewes/does and young stock), whether imported or bought in Armenia.

Do I qualify?

Sole proprietors and legal entities with a clean credit history and no tax arrears. Animals must be kept for breeding in Armenia for at least 5 years. One-time use per beneficiary.

What you get

50% of the price: up to 225,000 AMD per imported animal and up to 150,000 AMD per animal bought in Armenia. Minimum 5 head (4 females + 1 male), maximum 1,000 head.

Deadline

  • Closes: 31 December 2028
  • Applications accepted year-round until end-2028, subject to budget.

How to apply

  1. 1BEFORE buying, send an electronic application to the Ministry of Economy (breed, number, where from, when). You get a registration notice within 7 working days.
  2. 2Within 10 working days after purchase send the documents. After approval the money is transferred to your account.
