Crop insurance – the state pays 40–60% of the premium

State agricultural insurance program. You can insure your crop against hail, spring frost and drought. In 2026 insurable crops were: apricot, grapes, apple, peach, plum, melon, watermelon, potato, sour cherry, sweet cherry, wheat, barley, oats.
Do I qualify?
Any farmer or company growing one of the covered crops.
What you get
The state pays 60% of the premium; for apricot, wheat, barley and oats – 40% (2026 season).
Deadline
- Opens: 15 February 2026
- 2026 sales opened on 15 February. Insure in early spring, before the frost/hail season. 2027 terms not yet announced (no draft as of 8 October 2026).

How to apply
- 1Go to a participating insurer (2026: Liga, Sil, Nairi, Rego, Armenia, EFES Insurance) and sign a policy.
- 2You pay only your share; the state share goes to the insurer.
